Mia del los Muertos parade 3.11.06 : Mia del los Muertos parade in the Mission, San Francisco. The Mexican Day of the Dead festival, where people celebrate the life of their deceased friends or relatives. Typically this is done once by a group or person for the dearly departed. People make alters and tributes to their loved ones, some are large installations in the park, some are small and worn by the person as they walk the parade to the "Cemetary", in this case the local park. I had an absolute blast, the sounds and sights were amazing!
